Description

The mighty Olympic arriving in New York for the first time. In the background Lusitania.
I was too lazy to draw all the other things in the background, sorry  but this is a hard work x3

I always have loved your drawings, so I suppose saying this is simply amazing doesn't qualify as a critique!! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";p" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="453" title="Wink/Razz"/>

First off, let me say I love the detail you put into Olympic. I love how you drew all of her rivets and hull plates, something I don't have the patience to do, or if I did do it, it doesn't even look good!! I love how you got the promenade window arrangement so well, it isn't easy, I know. The only think I see on Olympic herself that looks a mite odd are the hull plates below the smaller round windows, where her superstructure meets the black of her hull. Those plates look like they were curved, which gives the illusion of her hull itself curving sharply out to a bend, then dropping back down to the water. Maybe those lines could be straightened a little bit?

Her funnels and rigging looks fabulous. Put a little more shading into her, and this will look really, really good. Lusitania in the background lacks some detail, and I'm not quite sure what all the black is from amidship to her stern. At a distance, it's a little hard to see it exactly. Maybe the only other thing that this could need would be a cloud or two in the sky for contrast.

I actually don't see anything else that needs improvement, it's simply beautiful! I look forward to seeing it totally finished!
